USA Visitor Visa permits the applicant to visit US either to tour or visit family or friends or for business meetings etc. Visas are issued for maximum 5 years depending on the intent, profile & documentation of the applicant. Visitors are cannot work on this visa. USA Visitor Visa applicants should explain to the consular officer that they have strong ties to their home country and that they aim to leave the U.S. after the expiry of their visa.
A USA Tourist Visa allows traveling to a Port of Entry in the U.S. When applicant arrives at his/her destination Port of Entry, the U.S. Immigration Inspector who processes his/her entry, will decide the duration that applicant may stay in the U.S. during this visit. Applicant is allowed to travel to the Port of Entry during the validity of USA Visitor Visa up to the last day of stay.
The visa duration does not determine the duration of applicant’s stay in the U.S.; it is decided by the Immigration Inspector upon applicant’s arrival in the United States.
In relation to U.S. visa laws and regulations, all non-immigrant visa applicants should confirm the consular officer that they have strong ties to their home country and that they plan to leave the United States after their temporary visit
To apply for a USA Visitor Visa the following eligibility criteria should be fulfilled:
• Applicants should demonstrate that they have sufficient funds to support themselves and their family for their stay in the U.S.
• Applicants needs to have criminal free record and must aim to follow the laws of the country
• Applicants who intend to stay either with their relatives or friends must provide invitation letter
• The USA Visitor Visa allows the applicant to travel all over the U.S. and visit many paces within the country
• Applicant is allowed to visit family, friends business conference or exhibitions etc.
• Visitors cannot work on a Non-Immigrant Visa as this is against the law
Spouse and Dependants
Spouse, common law partner and dependent children must apply individually for their own visiting visas and meet the eligibility criteria.

• Take an appointment online
The visa charges are $160.
